Merry Christmas

As you can see mom and dad were a little more excited then Addyson on her very first Christmas, usually she wakes us up way before we want to wake up but this morning we had to wake her up.

Addsyon first gift was a Rainforest Jumperoo from Grandma and Grandpa Pair. We figured out if we put a couple of books underneath her she will jump a little bit. She doesn't like to stay in there too long but she stays in there a lot longer than I thought she would.

The jumperoo also has many toys on top for Addyson to play with, she just stairs at them now but just give her a little time and I think she will sit there all day and just play. I guess when I was younger I had one of those Jumperoo things that mount between the doorways and I would just sit and bounce forever, hopefully she will do the same thing.
That is it for now but we will add more Christmas Photos a little later!! I hope you all have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Take Care!! Love, Ryan, Kristi, Addyson, and Riley

Dinner and a movie

While out for dinner with Tim, Kai made his move on Addyson. Really, have you ever seen a cuter kid??? After their little dinner date we allowed Kai to take Addyson on her first real date. I guess they went and saw 'American Gangster' and then just drove around for a little while. He had her back in the house by 10:00 and she had a good time so hat's off to Kai!!

Every time we tried to take a picture of Addyson and Kai, Kai would put his hand up. At first we couldn't understand why but then we figured out that he was protecting her eyes from the bright flash. Now that's a true gentlemen.

Mr. T's Visit!!

Mr. Tim Williams came threw town this past Saturday. He was only here for a couple of hours but we, were able to reserve a dinner date with him. Besides just visiting he came bearing gifts for Addyson. I know it's hard to see but it is a House of Blues T-shirt. At first Kristi thought it was for her but after trying it on she realized it was for Addyson.
As soon as Tim gave the shirt to Addyson, I had to capture her excitement. As you can see she can't wait to put it on and become a House of Blues girl. Really, who can blame her.

After she woke up Tim did get to spend a little time with her. I'm not positive but it looks like Tim is a natural at this father hood thing!!!!

The Christmas Story

Every time Kristi and I get Addyson ready to go outside, she reminds me of that kid in 'The Christmas Story' Where his mom dresses him up and he can't even move a muscle. I just have to laugh every time we go somewhere.

Like Father, Like Daughter

I know most of you will think I set this up but I swear to you that I did not. I think it's safe to say that we all have our little quirks, one of mine is that I will sit and walk around the house with my socks half on/ half off. Lately, I have noticed Addyson has been wearing hers the same way. Usually it's when she is sitting with me on the couch asleep, so I can't get up and take a picture because it will wake her up but today it happen and I was able to get a picture of it. I'm sure you all will respond by saying "Hey Stupid, she's not wearing them that way, there just falling off." to all of you, I say "YOUR WRONG, SHE'S LIKE HER DAD!!"

Snowflake Lane 2007

On Sunday, Addyson, Kristi, and I went with some friends to Snowflake Lane in Bellevue. It was raining but it was still a lot of fun. We started out at the Tuomisto house, were we ordered a couple of pies. (that's for you Ryean-Marie) for the rest of you none New Yorkers that's pizza. We then drove to Bellevue to watch the big show. I can't wait till Addyson is a little older so she can really enjoy the festivities. We then went to Macy's and bought some Martha Stewart sheets (400 count) because our dryer broke with our sheets inside making me REALLY, REALLY, MAD. As you can see a big night out for the Gamradt family

Bath Time

I know, I know!! It has been awhile since our last entry, sorry about that. I also know that we already had a entry with Addyson taking a bath but it's crazy on how much she LOVES taking baths. It's also still amazes me on how much she kicks when she is in the water. In fact I think she might be half Sun Fish/half human. I did take a picture of her feet in the water but as some of you know, still pictures freeze an image so it's hard to see the movement but I hope you enjoy them anyways. I also added a picture of her in her cute towel.

Osh Kosh B'Gosh

I'm always amazed on how many cute outfits we get as gifts. I'm also amazed on how many outfits Addyson has already out grown and didn't even get a chance to wear. We received these overalls from my sister-in-laws parents, Gary and Marie Nelson and we absolutely love them!! Addyson looks like our little helper when she wears them. I think she will either become a carpenter, a small engines teacher, or a dental assistant. OK, wearing overalls really has nothing to do with being a dental assistant but I had to give Marie a shout out...if you know what I mean.

Snowy Wonderland!!

Addyson was able to experience snow for the first time today. Everything was going great until Kristi beamed her in the face with a snow ball and yelled, "HOW DO YOU LIKE THAT!" I want everyone to know that I don't condone that behavior and I feel it is very inappropriate for a mother to do that to her little baby. I also tried to teach Addyson how to shovel the drive way but she wasn't haven't any of that either.

Seems Like Yesterday

Believe it or not, Addyson was born three months ago today. Here is a little update on how and what she is doing. The big thing is Addyson is still as healthy as can be, next month we have her 4 month check up so we will keep you posted on that but it seems like everything is going well. As progress goes, if you now make eye contact with her and make some baby noises she will smile from ear to ear for you. She's also kicking her legs a lot lately. Today, I gave her a bath and she kicked water onto the mirror (Pretty Impressive). She also can spit, or should I say launch her binky across the room (Even More Impressive). She will also sit there and make weird noises like she is trying to talk to you, of course Kristi and I have no clue what she is saying but we think it's still a big step. If I had to guess, she's probably telling me that I should take a shower but I just remind her that I only take a shower every two weeks. (J/K) Here is a picture of Addyson kicking her legs and having a little fun with her Leap Frog toy.

Touchdown Cougars!!!

No!!Kristi and I are not original cougars, in fact Kristi is a Central Washington, Stray/Spaded Wildcat (Or something like that) and I am a Bemidji State, Beaver (let the jokes begin on that one) but we do root for the Coug's. Kristi's, Dad was a Cougar and when I worked in Spokane 95% of the people I worked with came from Wazzu, so I jumped on the band wagon and joined them. I also became a Gonzaga fan when I was over there but that's a whole nother story. This past Saturday during the Apple Cup, we captured these pictures of Addyson sporting her Cougar outfit and even though she wasn't awake for the last touchdown she stilled signaled it. I guess even though she was asleep she knew how the game was going to turn out. SORRY DOG FANS!!

Doing What I'm Told

Addyson was wearing this shirt when I got home from work today so I just did what it said. Although, I have to say it did get a little weird when we went to the grocery store and everyone started kissing her. We were there for five hours while everyone lined up to give her a kiss. I think at one point the Fire Chief threaten to close down the building because there were so many people waiting. I heard the line went all the way around the building but I didn't see it so I'm not sure if that is true or not. I guess it's the price we have to pay for having such a beautiful, cute, precious little girl.

Daddy's Little Girl!!

Last Saturday Ryan and I went to a wedding shower for Brooke and David thrown by some of Brooke and Ryan's co-workers. Since Brooke told me this was an adult only party we had my sister watch Addyson for us. But before we dropped her off I snapped some picture's of her with her daddy.

Smiling

For a while now Ryan and I have been trying to capature a picture of Addyson smiling and awake. It seems lately she has been sleeping alot and it has been a harder thing to capature than we thought. Today we were at our friends Matt and Lori's taking a couple of pictures and we were lucky enough to get a picture of her smiling with her friend Andrew looking on.

WHO DOES SHE LOOK LIKE?

Here is a picture of Kristi at 3 months
Here is Addyson at 2 1/2 months

Here's a picture of me at 4 months!!

We thought it would be fun to put a baby picture of Addyson, next to a baby picture of Kristi, and a baby picture of myself for all of you guys to see. I think in a lot of ways she looks like me but she acts a lot like Kristi. Although I really think she looks like my dad more than both of us so I will probably call her "Bob" until she is 40!

A Little Funny!!

Kristi and I just noticed this, Look at the picture of Shawn and I, and then look at Kristi's family picture, notice anything? Bryan and I are wearing the exact same outfit!! How weird is that. I guess Kristi's mom still has this outfit, so if Kristi and I ever have a boy, guess what outfit he will be wearing? If we never have a boy, I guess I will just have to throw it back on and wear it to work. Don't worry, we will take a picture of that and post it for all of you to see. YES!!

Green Lake

Believe it or not I finally got a weekend off . I had to work 10 days straight to get it but that's alright. Since it doesn't happen that often Kristi, Addyson, and I wanted to make the most out of it, so we made a trip into Seattle and walked around Green Lake. We called our friend Brooke to see if she wanted to join us for the 2.8 mile adventure, But really who's counting? Here's a couple of pictures of us on our stroll.

Sisters

Well, it took a little while but Riley finally made her grand entrance onto the blog. I was sitting on the couch feeding Addyson when Riley came over to investigate and see what we were doing. Riley for the most part is pretty good with her of course we still watch her like a hawk but she does pretty well. The thing we like to do is ask Riley,"Where's Addyson?" Riley will run off and look in the pack and play or in the swing. It's pretty entertaining.

Minnesota Wild

I snapped this picture of Addyson wearing my Minnesota Wild hat. I can already hear you all saying, "Man she look good wearing Minnesota gear." To all of you I say, YOUR RIGHT!!

Dr.'s Appointment

Addyson just had her two month doctor's appointment. The doc said that everything looked good and that she looks very healthy. She has already grown to 22 1/8", can I say DUNK DUNK!! That height is in the 40 percentile for babies at her age. She weighs 9lbs 3 oz (10 percentile), and her head is 14 3/4" (25 percentile). At the appointment Addyson had to get 3 different shots. Two in one leg and one in the other. I have to say it wasn't pretty. She was beat red in the face and crying so loud that I'm guessing people in Seattle were asking, "What in the world is that high pitch sound?".
When Kristi got home she snapped this picture of her battle wounds. Don't worry the nurse was able to stop the bleeding from her shots with two Daffy the duck band aids. We will be heading back to the doctors in 2 months for her 4 month appointment and will keep you posted.

Dr. Mcdreamy or Dr. Mcsteamy

It looks like Kai (Dr. Mcsteamy) has a little competition. That's right Andrew (Dr. Mcdreamy) is making his move. Matt, Lori, and Andrew stopped by to say hi to Kristi and Addyson this past weekend and Kristi snapped a couple of pictures of them together. Hey Matt, I will make the same deal with you that I made with Ryan T. If Addyson and Andrew happen to get along and start planning a wedding, I'll pay 30 and you can pay 70. Sounds like a GREAT deal to me.

A Little Belly Time

Only 9 weeks old and already doing the worm!! That's right Addyson is already starting her dancing career. If you want your socks knocked off you should see her do the moonwalk. Kristi and I think this is the wave of the future and she will make millions of dollars running around Seattle with a piece of cardboard, wearing Zubas(SP), and dancing with music blaring from her boom box.
Actually, It's just a little tummy time. Addyson will lay there smile ear to ear and bob her head up and down. It's so fun to watch and we are proud of our little girl. (Although it doesn't take much for us we're proud of her when she goes number 2).

Trick or Treat

Today, Kristi , Addyson , and our friend Brooke tagged along with Kai and Ryean-Marie to a community Halloween party. They called it the Pee-Wee Monster Bash, how awesome is that. As you can see Addyson went as a bee and she was BEEautiful. Her friend/little lover, Kai went as a vampire. It goes without saying but he too was a hansom fellow. According to Kristi they all had a good time and hope they can do it again next year. I think on Wednesday we are going to take Addyson around to a couple of neighbor's, just so they can see her. If we get a little candy for her that's just a plus, of course I will have to check every piece to make sure there are no razor blades in it but, HEY that comes with the territory. With how Addyson looks I know your all wondering if she just stared in the movie Bee the answer is No!! Our agents couldn't work with the movie people so we had to pass. They only wanted to give us a couple million and really who can work for that price......Hello.....Child Labor Laws........We needed at least 10 but they wouldn't budge so we walked out. We are asking as friends if you would please not take your kids to go see it. (J/K)

Bryan's Visit From Japan

Bryan, the President/King/Chief/Leader of the Japan Pair branch blog flew over seas to see us along with the rest of the family and his other friends. Bryan currently lives in Japan with his wife Noako and his son Noah teaching English. It was nice to just sit and spend some time with him, since we don't get to see him that often. While he was here Kristi, Addyson, Bryan, and their parents went over to Colfax to visit Grandma Betty and to spend some family time together. Other than that we mainly just sat, talked, and watched some episodes of the Office (Since he doesn't get to watch it in Japan.) We already can't wait till the next time we get to see him and we REALLY can't wait to see Noah and Noako the next time they come. Here is a couple of picture of him and Addyson.

Ryan's Mom and Grandma!!

Last week my grandma and my mom came to visit us for a couple of days. This was the first time they had a chance to see Addyson in person. They were very excited to see her and Kristi and I were both excited to have them even if it was only for a short period of time. While they were here besides spending time with Addyson they redid my bathroom, redecorated some parts of our house, cook some good meals, and adventured out to a pumpkin patch/corn maze with us. We had a great time and it was sad to see them go, although if they stayed Kristi and I would probably have to file for bankruptcy with all the projects we did with them.(J/K) Here is a picture of my mom at the pumpkin patch with Addyson and then a picture of my mom and grandma holding her. ENJOY!!

Charlie Brown and the Pumpkin Patch

Ok!! It's not Charlie Brown but it is Addyson. Last week, Kristi, Addyson and I went to the Woodinville Pumkin Patch along with my Grandma, Mom, and Kristi's Mom. As you can see she wasn't awake for most of it but we thought it was a lot of fun. We can't wait till next year when she can actually help us pick out a pumpkin and have us help her carve it out. All in all it was a perfect day, except when we were leaving Kristi went to go and get some Kettle Corn (SURPRISE!!) and they told her there was a 45 minute wait....YES...45 Minutes for Kettle Corn. All I can say is I should have taken some pictures of her cursing out the workers. She might of actually hit one them with there big stir stick but I'm not sure.
