Bike Ride

This past Christmas my mom ordered a bike cart for Addyson as a gift. I guess it was a real popular thing to do because for the longest time it was on back order. It was on back order so long my mom canceled the order and just gave us money to put towards one. After doing a fair amount of research Kristi and I placed our order for one and sure enough that one was on back order as well. We of course waited and waited and then finally cancelled that order as well.... Speed forward..... This past week when I get a phone call from Kristi saying that REI just put the cart we wanted back on there web site we wasted no time and ordered it, an yesterday I got an e-mail saying it came in.


Out of extreme excitement we decided to put it together and break it in. Here is Addy and I in our fashionable bicycle helmets. I'm not sure why they make these things so ugly for the adults, her's is actually pretty cute. It has these little chickens on it but she of course she hates it with a passion and try's to tear it off her head every chance she gets. She was trying so hard there was a time I thought she might end up with whiplash.



Here is Kristi buckling her in for the first time. It's kind of neat, this trailer is made for two kids but you can rearrange the straps to put just one kid in the middle. I'm not sure why the feature impresses me so much but it does.

We of course didn't want to take Addy for a long bike ride so we just went a detour way to a park that is very close to our house. They added a new water park this summer so we wanted to check it out. We've seen it from the parking lot but we have not seen it up close. I'm not exactly sure why we didn't take a picture of the water park so you could see what it looks like but if your wondering, it is actually pretty cool and Addyson loved putting her feet in the water.

It wasn't the easiest gift to get but we would like to say THANK YOU to my mom and Gene for a great Christmas gift. (It feels weird to say that in August!!) The trailer is GREAT!! It will take a little time to get use to but I know we will get a lot out of it.
