Parents Night Out = Twins Implosion

Any time the Twins come to play in Seattle, Kristi and I try and make it out to at least one of their games. This year was no different and at the start of it, it looked like we picked an AWESOME game to go and watch.

Grandma and Grandpa Pair watched Addy for us. I believe this was Addyson second sleep over. It was extremly nice of them to take her but I have to admit it was a little weird to wake up this morning and not have to go and get a bottle ready for her.
Here we are sitting with Addyosn on Grandma and Grandpa's bench right before heading off to the game.

Safeco Field is such a nice venue to watch a game at. We can't wait to take my family here when they come for Addyson birthday at the end of the month. It just happens that the Mariners are playing the Twins for that game as well. Although we are really excited we hope the game result is a little different.
Here we are right before heading in.

The Mariners had salute to Japanese Baseball Night. When we walked into the stadium, we were handed these hats. I was told they say Mariners in Japanese. Since I don't read Japanese that well, I will just have to take their word for it. Kristi and I decided that we are going to send them over to Kristin's brother, who lives in Japan so he can enjoy them.

Before the game Kristi and I checked out the team store. I guess you can actually buy the teams name that goes into the score board. It runs $300.00 but how cool would that be!! Kristi and I thought it would be perfect to place it in our game room. The only problem is, WE DON'T HAVE A GAME ROOM but believe me, if we win the lottery or come into a lot of money, we will have a game room and the Minnesota sign will be hanging on the wall.

Here is our view from our seats. The last two years we sat at Hit It Here Cafe. It's a cafe out in right field. It's really nice and it comes with an $18.00 food voucher so if your on a diet (WHICH WE ARE) you might want to skip counting calories for the night because your just going to be upset at the end of the night.

Before we went in we decide that if one of the teams was up by a good amount we would leave in the 7th inning. It's always nice to beat the traffic and to get home a little early. When we left the game the Twins were up 6 - 1, I REPEAT 6 - 1. As we were driving home we listen to the radio and as you know the Mariners scored 10 points in the 7th to come back and win 11 - 6!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME!! I'm glad that we left because I would of been throwing my food unto the field and got kicked out. Of course if the rolls would of been reversed and the Twins came back an won I would of been so UPSET that we didn't stay but that's how it goes.
Here we are at our seats enjoying the game. Even though the Twins ended up loosing we did have a great time and remember. There's always next time!!

I will never live down Super Bowl 2005. I just wish I could remeber it. I am proud to say I am a Twins fan. But Ryan will never convert me to a Vikings fan. Seahawks Rule!!!!

I will promise you all one thing. I will never try and convert Kristi into a Viking fan, for one reason. "She isn't good enough to be a Viking fan!!" We're WINNERS!! HAHAHA(J/K)

Ryan..did you seriously just call the Vikings winners? Nice label, but wrong!!! I love this post, it has caused quite a stir in the blogging world and its good to see that the Mariners have many loyal fans. You both look so dang cute in your matching t-shirts though!!

Why is there all this talk about the Vikings. The biggest reason Kristi made the jump to the Twins is because we have a chance every year to win...that is just more fun to watch. Ok, ok, ok, the M's have now beat us twice, but I think the Twin's are still in it to win it.

Way to go Kristi...GO TWINS!
