The Boys Turn 1!!!

It's hard to believe that a year has already gone by. It seems like yesterday we were just blogging about the two new additions to our family but in a blink of an eye Easton and Owen are officially 1.

Easton in his birthday outfit saying, "LETS GET THIS PARTY STARTED!"

Owen in his outfit saying, "Our birthday?....alright!"

Kristi and I talked it over and decided just to go with a smaller birthday party for this year. We invited just a small group of friends over for dinner and cake!

Here is a picture of all the kids enjoying the ultimate b-day dinner, Mac-N-Cheese and Hot Dogs....you can't go wrong with that!

We of course went with the Cars theme this year. We thought since we are watching the movie at least a couple of times a day we might as well go with it!

Owen in his birthday hat!

The boys made out like bandits in the gift department. Jim and Karen got them another walking training lion but besides that they got a lot of learning toys, cars and trucks that make noise, stuffed animals, and clothes from everyone else.

The boys are already to do the 1st annual birthday cake eating contest.....

.....of course they had to wait for all of us to sing Happy Birthday!

It took a little while but then Easton just decided to dive right in and go for it!

Owen wanted to feel things out before he committed.

It wasn't to long before they both were into it.

I don't think I could ever get sick of watching these guys eat cake.

Although Owen looks like he is now possessed by the sugar Gods!

Happy Birthday Boys!! We are so proud of you!! Thanks to everyone that was able to make our little party and thanks to everyone that wasn't able to make the party but called with a nice birthday wish!!
