August is the new July!

Where the heck did July go? I thought when I did the 30 for 30 it would help me get back into swing of things but I think it has done the total opposite. I still have to blog about our Minnesota trip that we took back in June and our other summer filled events. I'm not really sure even where to begin so I will just start with our 4th of July weekend. I usually like to stick around our neighborhood on the 4th because it's literaliy like a war zone when you walk outside and I'm afraid our house has a good chance of burning to the ground but this year we decided to take a risk on the house and head up to the pass to Jim and Karen's condo.

Here the boys are running up and down the hallway. I'm not kidding when I say they could of done this all day. I guess they just enjoyed the freedom and space of a long hallway.

Here Addy is sitting down enjoying a book and movie.
Even though we were up at the pass the kids were able to watch some fireworks right outside the window. A small group of people where setting them off in the lower parking lot. At first Addy really enjoyed them but then she heard what a couple of M-80's sounded like and she didn't really enjoy them much after that!
Of course this picture was taken before the M-80 went off!
Easton pulling up a chair for a little dinner. It seem like all we did was eat the whole time while we were up there. With that said I do have to inform everyone that eating is pretty much common practice when we do make it up to the condo. I'm not exactly sure why that is just the way it is.
We did find out that our boys do LOVE lasagna!
The other thing we happen to do was head over to Clu-Elem for the Pioneer Days Parade. I totally forgot how much candy you can get when you sit at the beginning of the parade route and your a cute little girl with alot of curls. We got so much candy we had to start putting it into our backpack.
Here Addy is running out for some more treat!
I can't wait till next year when we have 3 kids running out into the street, pushing other kids out of the way to grab their suger filled treats. Easton and Owen are already planning next years strategy!
Just enjoying the day!
I'm not exactly sure when the next post will be but you have to admit I'm off to a pretty good start for the month of August!
