58 AND STILL SEXY!!

Kristi, Addyson and I want to wish my dad a Happy 58th Birthday! Everyone that knows my dad, I think will agree with me when I say that he has one of the biggest hearts out of anyone that they know. He would do anything for his kids and there families. He is a very special person. An a person that I am PROUD to call Dad!!

I'm not sure if a lot of people know this but my dad shares the same birthday as Tupac Shakur. I can already hear my dad, "Who the heck is Tupac Shakur?"
Around 40 years ago my dad started his career in wood making. He has built everything from houses, to cabinets, and everything in between. He has a very special gift and I love everything that he makes. I'm not sure if most of you know this but I inherited this gift as well. (Just take a look below)

A couple of years ago when Kristi and I bought our house we knew right away we had to replace the ugly stair rail. So my dad came to the rescue and built this beautiful stair railing for us. This is his stair rail.

This is mine. Take a look at the incredible wood work. I think they look exactly the same but I will let you decide which one is better.

Last year he turned a section of our closet into a much needed storage unit with keeping the closet very usable. This is his storage unit!! (He has the doors in his shop, we just need to find a way to get them from Minnesota to Washington.)

This is my storage unit. Can't you see the wonderful wood work? Like I said, like father like son.
He also installed new windows in our house. Above you can see a picture from the inside and the outside. On the inside you can really see some of his wood work. (He had to make the framing from scratch)

Here is a picture of a window that I made. Ok I didn't make it but the house does come in pieces and I have to put it together so that should count for something.

Happy Birthday Dad!! Can't wait to see you and WE LOVE YOU!!
