Texas Trip

When we arrived in Texas we had to chuckle a little because we weren't at Jed and Katie's house more than an hour and it started to RAIN. We left Seattle to get away from the rain but it must of followed us. Here is a picture of Jenna and Miss. Tan..Aka..Kylie in their back yard. It only rained for a short time but it did make us laugh.

While Jed was teaching at summer school, Katie took us to a park near their house. This is where I started wishing that the rain would come back because it was only 9am an it was already 90 degrees. (You didn't think you were going to get away with me not complaining about the heat...Did You?)

Here is Landrie and Addyson being buddies on the swing set. Here Landrie looks like an old-pro while Addyson is like, "Get me off this thing...NOW."

After a little while Addyson got use to it, "I'll just sit here, lean back, and take a little nap."

We had a GREAT time visiting Jed and Katie but it wasn't all fun an games. While we were there Addyson got a little sick. Her left eye was oozing with this goo and crusted over. She also had a temp that ran up to 102 at one point. We tried to keep on top of it but ended up taking her to a place called CARENOW. They gave her some drops for her eyes and some medicine for her congestion.

I wish I could tell you that it ended there and she is all better now but yesterday Kristi took her to the doctor again and we found out she has an infection in both ears...YES!!!

How was Addyson on the flight home? I bet her ears really hurt if they were infected. Give her a hug from Grandma Miller.

She was a little restless flying but did very well. For the last couple days she is taking a lot of naps and not eating a whole late but I think that's understandable.

Sorry to hear that your little one got sick on vacation. We went to Vegas in early June, and Carter got sick while at Grandma's. It's no fun, especially since they can't say "daddy and mommy, I don't feel good!" I hope she's getting better each day! Glad you had fun with the Eisels.

Miss you!
