Here is Kristi and Addy inside the fair, right outside the rides. We wanted to take Addy on some of the smaller rides but we thought she was still a little to small for those so we just walked around and Kristi and Addy listen to me say, "THERE IS NO WAY!!! YOU WOULD NEVER GET ME TO RIDE THAT THING!" I'm guessing I said it about a thousand times.
I think the biggest thrill of the day was taking Addy to see all the animals. We pretty much walked through every barn. One of our first stops was at the petting area so Addy could get down and dirty with all the animals. They had some baby bunnies in the petting area but we thought we better stick with the big ones because Addyson has a tendency to grab onto the animal instead of petting them and if you don't believe me just ask Riley. She's getting better but we still have to watch her like a hawk.
Here she is with Kristi petting a sheep!!
Here you can see Kristi saying, "GENTLE ADDY, GENTLE." I don't think Addyson was listening because she was way to excited but she did pretty good.
I told Kristi that she could hold Addy in the open cages and I would be more than happy to hold Addy when there was a cage involved so here Addyson and I looking at the cute little bunnies outside of the cage of course.
Addyson got a little mad at me because I wouldn't let her get to close to the goat. It's amazing how much she loves animals. I really think that we could of just dropped her off in the cage go and get some scones, attend a concert, eat an Earthquake burger and she would just be sitting there jumping on the goat. (SERIOUSLY!!!, Have any of you guys seen one of those Earthquake burgers, they cost $10.00 and I bet one burger could feed a family of 4, THERE HUGE!!!)
Our last stop was the little baby chickens. Addyson liked them as well but she again wanted to touch them!! I now think she will become a Veterinarian but I'm still not ruling out a Astronaut or Movie Star.

Oh, how sweet it is to see her in those pictures. She is also so darn sweet for being such a lover of the animals...you get bonus points from me Addyson!! Seeing you all in those pictures made me think of all the days of showing my animals in 4-H as a kid. Memory lane alert!!! Then, hearing about the food made me think of all the crazy stuff at the MN state Fair too.
Glad you guys had a nice day at the fair...love you all.
