STILL IN SHOCK!!

Yesterday was such a crazy day. First, I worked a 16 hour day and of course the whopper, found out that we are having TWINS in the middle of it. I was able to make it to the ultra sound with Kristi and Addy during my lunch break but the whole day was without a question UNREAL. I even thought I might wake up this morning and find out it was just a dream but that didn't happen. I'm sure by no surprise to some, I already found myself this morning sitting down and taking a look at my finance book to see how we can squeeze twins into the mix. At one point I was wondering if I could make it work with cutting our cable and downgrading our cell phone plan. WHAT AM I DOING? EVERYTHING WILL BE FINE!!! I think that the hardest part will be convincing Kristi that we should name the first one Kirby and the second one Puckett (Brooke he is one of the LEGENDS of the Minnesota Twins, if your wondering)

Although I'm sure this is going to be an exciting ride and I just need to sit down, buckle myself in, and hang on as tight as I can because although there might be bumps I'm sure everything will fall into place.

Kristi, Addy, and I wanted to share the first pictures of the Twins with you, for right now they are called baby A and baby B (sounds good to me). I think they resemble Kristi to a T!!

I really have no clue what this shows but they gave it to us so I thought I better post it. We will continue to show you everything we get as soon as we get it. HAVE A GREAT DAY!! I think it might be a picture of a goat. Besides Twins we are having a GOAT!! How crazy can this day get!!

Kristi just called me and told me that this is a picture of the twins together. If you look closely you can see where is says A and B. You really can't make out the kids that well but if you look straight down from the B (One on your left) you can see him/her at the bottom. If you look down and slight right from A (One on your right) you can see him/her in a little ball. If you can't see them just stick with the GOAT story!! It sounds a little cooler when you tell your friends that you have another friend that will be giving birth to a GOAT!!

Okay, just a guess because I had about a million of these ultrasounds with the boys. So a somewhat educated guess, maybe?

I think it's a picture of the babies with the membrane/amniotic sacs separating them. I remember from one of our early appointments that early in the pregnancy is the best time to show that they are in two separate sacs (and most likely fraternal twins) and they always checked on it and took a picture for the doctor. It's a good thing to see --both babies have their own nutrition sources and that eliminates a bunch of potential complications. But the whole goat thing sounds much cooler.

Okay, I just wrote a novel. Later, bye.

At first, I thought you might just be joking, but it's true! Congratulations on the twins, and so glad to hear that you didn't lost the job. Although, MN is a great place to be, it is good that you get to do it on your own time, rather than be forced into it. Congrats again, can't wait to read more about it all. :)

You don't have to tell me who Kirby Puckett is! I was born in a dug-out (not literally) and my dad is a retired college baseball/football coach! I support that for a name! Ha Ha:)
