Twins vs Mariners

I thought I better post this before the baseball season is actually over and the hockey season begins. When my parents were here for Addy's B-day we decided to take them to the Twins and Mariners game. In Minnesota we just have the Metrodome so it was nice to take them to a nice venue for a change. We started over at the Pyramid Brewery and then headed over to the game. When we got there we thought it would be nice to get a group shot so we asked some guy on the street to take our picture. We didn't know this at the time but after he took the picture his friend told us that he is a professional photographer, can't get any better then that. Addy isn't really looking at the camera but it was her birthday so I guess she had the right to look at whatever she wanted.

We got to the game like an hour early so we went down to the field to watch the Twins take batting practice. While watching the game a ball guy came over and gave Addyson a ball. We didn't see who hit but I'm guessing it was Joe Mauer or Justin Morneau or I'm hoping it was. It's my story so I'm sticking with one of those guys.

Here I am with Addy, Grandma Linda, and Grandpa Bob at our seats. It's always nice to take my dad to a game and even though my mom doesn't like baseball that much she loves spending time with us so she would pretty much go any where, I'm guess we could take her to a doctors appointment and she would be OK with that. (oh wait we did take her to a doctors appointment) Addy looks so excited her. I'm guessing this picture was taken after her 3rd cotton candy so her sugar level is threw the roof. J/K

GOOOO TWINS! Addy clapping for her team, the Twins of course!!

I think one of my favorite moments was when we took Addy to get her picture with the Mariners Moose. We thought as soon as we walked up to him she would be scared and we would have this picture of the moose with Addyson crying her eyes out but to our surprise she loved the Moose. She kept on grabbing for him and wanting to pet him. We got this great picture but they took it so I couldn't add it but it is in a frame at our house if you want to come and see it.

It was a long night but it was a lot of fun and we all made it through. Here is Addyson sitting on Grandpa's lap about to fall asleep.
