How does she think of this stuff?

I celebrated my 32 birthday last week (Where does time go?) and like every year the only thing I really ask for is a DQ birthday cake. I believe there was only one year that I wasn't able to get a birthday cake from DQ and that's when we flew down to Texas for my 30th birthday but I have to say Kristi and Jed tried. They went to 3 or 4 Dairy Queens in the neighborhood and not one of them had birthday cakes. I guess they don't believe in ice cream down in the Lone Star State. I do have to say though they did get me tickets to go see the Dallas Stars so I still made out HUGE!!

Here Kristi and I are displaying this years cake. I'm guessing Kristi decided not to do candles this year because when you get over 30 candles on an ice cream cake only bad things can happen.

I'm not sure how she does it but Kristi always gives me the best gifts. She has that special touch of finding that gift that is kind of off the radar but something that you really need or something you would love to have but you probably would never buy for yourself. This year she went old school and I mean literally old school by getting me a Bemidji State hooded sweatshirt with some Bemidji State shorts. I don't have a lot of things from Bemidji, I do have these jogging pants that Kristi would LOVE to throw out because they have holes and rips in them but I won't let her. I also know that she has tried many of times finding a replacement for them but cannot find them ANY WHERE!! I just want to thank Addy and Kristi for a GREAT birthday and for the awesome gifts.

I think I remember those pants -- are they black with white and green stripes down the sides? I can't believe you still have those! Go Beavers!

Kristi, you look FANTASTIC!!! Wow! Almost there! Thinking of you guys as you near the home stretch -- have you bought your big giant stroller yet? :)
