OOPS!

There comes a time when you just have to admit that you're wrong and I have to say, "I WAS WRONG."

When we bought our van I would of bet my last dollar that Kristi would of got into an accident or a minor fender bender before I did for 2 reasons.

1. It's her main car and so she drives it a lot more then I do.

2. Kristi is a lot more aggressive than I am when it comes to driving, in fact I think her exact words are, "Honey I love you but you drive like an old man."

I am NOT saying that I am a better driver I'm just saying that my money would of been on her but like I said before, "I WAS WRONG!!"

Two days ago I had to run to Fred Meyer to get a couple of things as we cleaned our house to get ready for my moms visit. I loaded Addyson in her car seat and start backing out with one minor problem. I FORGOT TO OPEN THE GARAGE DOOR!! I shouldn't say I forgot because I pushed the button I just didn't wait for it to open all the way. Now...I don't want to blow this out of proportion because as soon as I hit the garage I did stop and pulled forward. I didn't wreck the garage but I did put a minor dent in both. Here is a picture of the garage. As you can see I put a dent in the bottom panel. It still opens like it should and you really can't tell anything is wrong until you walk up to it and look straight down.



Here is the mark it left on our van. I think it goes with out saying that when you back into a garage nothing good is going to happen but I can honestly say this was the best case scenario out of a bad event. I look at it like this way, I'm so THANKFUL I was driving because if it was Kristi she would of pushed on the gas instead of the brake and drove right threw the garage. Here I go again saying something I might just have to turn around and later admit that I was WRONG!!
