Popcorn and Riley

Kristi and I noticed that Addyson has two new favorite things that she loves to do.

The first thing is she loves to eat popcorn. When she first started eating it I had to be pretty careful because I didn't want her to eat any of the kernels so I had to eat around them and then give them to her. I'm not sure if many of you have ever had to eat popcorn this way but it is the biggest pain in the butt. First, I could never keep up with her. I would eat, inspect, then give her a piece. Second, she would get all the good pieces and I got stuck with all the kernels. I'm happy to report those days are all over and she now gets her own bowl.

Here she is sitting on the couch enjoying a bowl of popcorn. I'm sure most of you are not thinking this but if you are don't worry she didn't eat the whole bowl. Kristi and her shared it.


The other thing she loves to do is spend time with Riley. I think in some instances Riley would say she abuses this power. There are many times we will see Addy sitting on her, patting/light hitting her, or trying to poke her eyes out but I have to say it never phases Riley and she is so GOOD with her. We continue to stop Addy and give her a refresher on how to be nice to Riley knowing that it will sink in some day.

In some cases we have to laugh because Kristi and I will look at each other and say, "Where did Addy go?" After a quick little search we will find her just sitting on the dog pillow and playing with her BFF, Riley.
