Those Special Moments

All I can say is that I'm so glad we forget about things as we get older because for the last week or so Addyson has been teething. I can't even start to imagine how hard that is or how painful this is for a small child. With this, as expected Addy will go through moments where she isn't to happy with the world, you try and help her but some times it doesn't seem to do any good.

Monday was one of those days. Everything I did wasn't working. When it came time to put her down for a nap as soon as I walked away she started to cry. I knew she was tired but it didn't seem to matter. I told myself just let her be for 10 minutes and she will fall asleep but with every passing minute it seemed to get worse. After about 5 minutes I went back up to her room, picked her up, and started to sway back an forth. It did comfort her to the point where I thought she was asleep but as soon as I put her back in her crib, her eyes where wide open. I then just stood there, rubbed her belly, and tried to make her feel at ease. As the seconds passed you could tell her eyes where getting heavier and heavier. It was one of those moments where no matter how frustrating the day has been it was all wiping away while I watched her fall asleep. When her eyes finally closed all I could say is, "Sleep tight little princes." It was truly one of those special moments.

Here she is after falling asleep.

I do have to say, "Thank God for Baby Orajel."

I also have to say I love this machine. It plays music. makes bubbles, and the fish swims back n forth. With out this machine I don't think she would of gotten asleep. I also love that it comes with a remote so you can shut it off with out even going in her room and reaching over her. Nice job Fisher Price.

So sweet...

She's having a tough time with teething. Is she going to get them all at once?! :)
