Never Fails!!

Day 13

I think it is pretty much "Old-Hat" that every time one of my family members fly's into town we grab the dust rags, mop, and anything else we can fine and start cleaning. The difference this time is instead of throwing everything in the shed we did a "DEEP" cleaning. I mean we cleaned our closets, garage, we even cleaned the books on the book shelf!! The reason I took pictures is to prove that at one time our house was cleaned because with the twins and Addy I can't promise you that our house won't be a pile of ashes by tomorrow!!

We have to say a, "BIG THANK YOU" goes out to Karen. She has been at our house for the past few days and has been helping us by watching the kids, doing piles of laundry, and going above and beyond anything we could ask for. I think Kristi and I decided that Jim and Karen should sell their house in Bellevue, give us the money and we will build them a little hut in our back yard we will give them some money here and there but most of it will go towards the "Ryan Tax" Thanks Karen for all your help!!

The other thing that seems to happen every time someone comes to visit is one of us gets sick. This time it happens to be Addy!! On Tuesday Addy threw up 10 times!! I'm not kidding, 10!! Everything she drank or ate all came right back up. Yesterday she threw up a couple more times so we called the doctor and took her in just to get checked. They pretty much told us that it's a stomach bug and that it is going around. They did give her some anti-vomiting medicine that seems to be helping and I'm happy to report last night she slept through the night without incident.
I love this picture because it's like Addy is saying, "If you take another picture of me on this couch I will get up and snap that camera in two!"

It was so hard to see Addy like this. Kristi and I just wanted to wave a wand and help her but it seemed no matter what we did it wasn't working. We did have her sleep with us Tuesday night and Kristi left work early yesterday so she could take her to the doctor but I think any parent wishes they could do a little more.

We gave her a bath hoping that it would make her feel a little better. It seemed to do the trick for a little while but it wasn't to long before we had to make another visit to the bathroom.

We were able to get a "CHEESE" out of her. We just thought she looked to cute in this towel not to get a picture. We are just hoping the twins don't get this so called bug because if they do it could make my mom's visit very interesting!

I hope you all have a GREAT DAY and I will see ya tomorrow!! If you see Addy on the streets I recommend covering your mouth and maybe crossing the street. You can still yell, "Hello" but remember just keep your distance!!
