Real Original

Day 16

I'm guessing I don't get that many originality points for deciding to take my visiting family members to the Woodland Park Zoo but I can give you two reasons why we decided to go.

1. It was so nice out. What else is better than being outside and looking at animals on a perfect Spring day.

2. I found out that KING has Woodland Park Zoo member cards, that all employees can check out so we were all able to get in for FREE!! FREE what else could you ask for!
I'm not sure if it was because of the nice weather or if it was because of another reason but a lot of the animals were out and moving around. In our past zoo visits it seems like half of the animals would be out and the other half we would have to search for.

Here is Grandma, Linda and Addy taking a peek at the Jaguar or Kitty according to Addyson.

Grandpa, Gene with Addy checking out the elephants.

We couldn't find Chilly Willy but we were able to find a lot of his friends!

I was going to take all of my pictures standing behind them while they checked out the animals but I thought I would save you from having to see the same type of picture all day long.

The Bears soaking up the sun....

....1 of the 3 giraffes eating leaves off the trees.

When we got to the Family Farm we found out that the petting part was closed so we were a little disappointed but to my surprise we came across an old Ford tractor. It's the exact same tractor that Grandpa, Gene used to have. In fact that Ford tractor was the first farm tractor that I ever drove in my life. It was total deja vu so I had to get Gene's picture with it.

We weren't able to pet any of the animals but we were able to see some Ozzawa Island Pigs. I have no clue where Ozzawa Island is or how many pigs there are on that Island but Addy and my mom seemed to enjoy them.

Alright Easton, "Where are we and where off to next?

We are still searching for that perfect family picture!

Grandma and Grandpa trying to get that perfect picture as well but I guess that will have to wait as well.

Owen enjoying the view.

"Hey where did my map go!"

Of course we can't leave the zoo with out riding the carousel.

Addy was a little scared at first but by the end of the ride she was waving at me as I tried to take their picture.

Another GREAT DAY!! See ya all tomorrow!!

That Ford tractor was awesome. I still remember seeing Doug's 80's haircut flowing in the wind as he push that Ford tractor at 35 mile per hour down our dirt driveway, not applying the breaks, which it didn't have good breaks anyways, and flying into the machine shed and smacking into the back wall. What was next? Doug: mother ^(%*((^&^%$#%$#&*^%^%$%$&(^%^$%#
